Snowbound Expo 2026 Brings Travis Rice and Deals to Mohegan Sun

Montville, Conn. – October 15, 2026 -- Snowbound Expo 2026 runs November 14–15 at Mohegan Sun in Connecticut, with day tickets from $16, a $30 weekend pass and free entry for children under 12.

The Northeast's winter sports event moves to the 125,000-square-foot Earth Expo & Convention Center, a location the organizers say is easier to reach from Boston, New York City and Connecticut. More than 200 brands and resorts will exhibit, and over 23,000 visitors are expected. Snowsports Industries America reports that a record 32 million Americans took part in snow sports last winter, the highest total in six seasons.

Snowboarder Travis Rice and skier Jessie Diggins headline the speaker lineup

Rice is the snowboarder behind the film The Art of Flight. Diggins is the most decorated American cross-country skier in history, an Olympic gold medalist and overall World Cup champion. Freeskier Tom Wallisch, snowboarder Kimmy Fasani, photographer Dean Blotto Gray, Natural Selection Tour co-founder Liam Griffin, advocate Ellen Bradley and deaf mountaineers Scott and Shayna also appear. Speakers take the Inspiration Stage.

Colorado Ski Shop brings $2 million in gear at up to 60% off

Adult ski packages start at $499 and kids' packages at $299. Complete snowboard setups with board, boots and bindings start at $499, and individual snowboards are marked down 30% to 40%. Outerwear, helmets and goggles from Arc'teryx, Oakley and Patagonia are reduced by up to 50%. Representatives from Nordica, Salomon and Capita will be on the floor, and Seirus will offer event pricing on heated gloves.

New attractions include a trampoline show, an alpine runway and an ice bar

Other additions are a Creative Zone and an invitation-only Rail Jam next to the Snowboard Zone, where top East Coast athletes compete live. The Après Party After Hours starts Saturday at 8:00pm with DJ sets, a runway show and giveaways.

An Ikon Pass worth $1,449 will be given away at the entrance each morning. Two pairs of REKKIE Smart Snow Goggles, valued at $400 each, are also up for grabs, and SHOKZ will host giveaways through the weekend.

Ticket tiers range from $12 senior entry to a $55 Powder Pass

Seniors over 65 pay $12, and companion aides enter free. The $55 Powder Pass gives single-day entry with access from 9:30am, an hour before general doors open. It includes a VIP wristband, a Snowbound Expo t-shirt, a beer token and a guaranteed meet-and-greet with Rice, Diggins, Fasani or Wallisch. A $25 upgrade adds a meeting with another speaker, plus entry for a second day if that speaker appears on a different date.

Event Director Kate Hawley called it the event's biggest and most dynamic edition yet.
