Toronto – October 02, 2026 -- Tight Poker has launched a recurring series of free online poker tournaments that pay out $3,000 in Bitcoin prizes every month, with the next event set for October 3.
Weekly $500 tournaments run every Saturday
The free $500 No-Limit Texas Hold'em tournaments began on September 19 and continue weekly, capped at 200 players per event. Entry requires a tournament ticket, which players earn simply by logging into their Tight Poker account during the week.
Top 27 finishers advance to a $1,000 championship
Each Saturday's top 27 finishers receive a ticket to a monthly championship carrying a $1,000 Bitcoin prize pool. The championship is held on the final Saturday or Sunday of each month. Combined, four weekly tournaments and one monthly championship add up to $3,000 in Bitcoin prizes distributed monthly.
Games use a fast turbo format
Both the weekly and monthly events follow a turbo-style structure designed to wrap up in one to two hours. Players start with 800 chips, and blind levels increase every five minutes.
Entry requires account verification
To participate, players must create or log into a Tight Poker account and complete verification. After earning a weekly ticket through login, players register once tournament registration opens and play the Saturday event; finishing in the top 27 unlocks the monthly championship ticket.
Only one account is allowed per player. Tight Poker says accounts found to be duplicates may be banned from play and from withdrawing winnings.
Winnings are paid directly in Bitcoin
All prizes are credited in Bitcoin to winners' Tight Poker accounts at the end of each tournament. Players can withdraw funds through the Cashier by submitting a Bitcoin wallet address. Registration for each weekly tournament stays open until the event starts or the 200-player cap is reached.
