Columbus – October 31, 2026 -- A photo of your pet and a short game-day story could win two tickets to Super Bowl LXI in Los Angeles. Nationwide's Tails and Touchdowns Contest has a grand prize valued at $7,750 and runs from November 4, 2026 to December 23, 2026.
The grand prize covers the game, flights and three hotel nights
One winner gets two Super Bowl LXI tickets (valued at $3,800), roundtrip airfare for two ($2,000) and three nights in a standard double-occupancy hotel room ($1,950). Nationwide books the travel and hotel. Airfare is included only if the winner lives more than 50 miles from the game venue. Cash substitutions are not allowed except at Nationwide's sole discretion.
Weekly drawings award $50 NFLShop.com gift cards
Each week of the contest, one entrant wins a $50 NFLShop.com gift card, for a total value of $400. Non-winning entries stay in the pool for later weekly drawings. Weekly winners remain eligible for the grand prize.
Entering takes a form, a 150-word story and a photo
Entrants fill out an online form, describe how they spend game days with their pet in 150 words or less, and upload a photo of the pet or of themselves with the pet. No purchase is necessary, and buying anything does not improve the odds. Photos must show real pets, and images created with generative AI are excluded. Entries cannot be changed or withdrawn after submission.
Judges score four categories at 25% each
A panel chosen by Nationwide rates entries on creativity or originality, relevance to the theme, photo quality and emotional impact. Ties are broken by an alternate judge, and the judges' decisions are final.
Who can enter, and the fine print
The contest is open to legal residents of the 50 states and the District of Columbia who are at least 18 or have reached the age of majority where they live, whichever is greater. Residents of Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Minnesota, Nebraska, Pennsylvania and Washington are excluded.
The grand prize winner is notified by email or phone within seven days of the contest's end and has five business days to respond. Weekly winners are contacted within two days and have three business days to respond. By entering, participants allow Nationwide to use their name, likeness and image for advertising and promotion without further compensation, unless the law prohibits it. Winners pay all taxes on prizes and may receive an IRS 1099 form.
