Bluffton – – October 15, 2026 -- Indoor golfers in the Lowcountry can play free closest-to-the-pin and longest-drive contests every hour starting at noon on Friday, Oct. 23, when X-Golf Hilton Head holds its grand reopening. Each hourly winner takes home a $100 gift card.
The venue at 1414 Fording Island Rd., Suite C-102, in Tanger Outlets 2, is now a corporate-owned X-Golf America location. The company acquired it from its previous franchise owner.
Every simulator gets sharper graphics and more courses
All simulators now run new software and app technology, with sharper graphics and an expanded library of playable courses. Players hit real shots into giant screens, and a ball return and auto-tee system keeps play moving between swings.
A full bar and refreshed menu keep drink prices in check
The full bar serves beer and cocktails, alongside a refreshed menu of easy bites. According to the announcement, prices are set so another round never costs more than playing one. Pool, darts, shuffleboard and a lounge area give groups something to do between shots.
Rental clubs are available, so visitors do not need their own set. As an indoor venue, it stays open for play regardless of rain, summer heat or early winter sunsets.
The X-League Fall Season brings national competition to Hilton Head
The X-League Fall Season, X-Golf's national league, launches locally in October. It uses handicapped scoring, so players of every skill level have a real shot at winning. Top local competitors advance to regional and then national finals for a $10,000 cash prize. Details are available at the Oct. 23 event, and sign-up is online or with staff on site.

Garrett Ripsam, franchise success manager for X-Golf America, said corporate ownership means the latest simulator technology and hands-on operational support from the corporate team.
