Berlin – September 09, 2026 -- TCL used IFA 2026 to unveil its "AI Inspired Life" concept, showcasing a lineup of screens, appliances and smart-home devices designed to work together rather than as standalone gadgets, inside its Inspiration Habitat exhibit at Messe Berlin's Hall 21A.
The X11L TV delivers 10,000 nits of HDR brightness
The flagship TCL X11L Mini LED television headlines the display lineup, combining Super Mini LED backlighting, a Super QLED layer and a WHVA 2.0 Ultra panel. It offers up to 20,736 dimming zones, HDR brightness up to 10,000 nits and up to 100% coverage of the BT.2020 color space, paired with Bang & Olufsen-tuned audio.
TCL also debuted the X3A OLED+ gaming monitor and the Q95K soundbar, which uses an 11.1.4-channel setup co-tuned with Bang & Olufsen. Separately, TCL expanded Gemini for Google TV to more markets, including the UK, France, Italy and Spain, adding conversational AI search to its televisions.
The P80 Ultra smartphone features a 50-megapixel periscope camera
Making its IFA debut, the TCL P80 series is led by the P80 Ultra, which pairs a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with 3x zoom and a 1.5K display reaching 3,200 nits. The P80 Ultra and P80 Pro also carry TCL's newest NXTPAPER display technology, aimed at reducing eye strain. The TAB A1 Plus NXTPAPER tablet brings the same paper-like screen effect to a 12.2-inch tablet, while the RayNeo GT Max AR glasses, RayNeo iO smart glasses and the TCL Tbot kids' companion device round out the wearables lineup.
The FreshIN 3.0 Ultra AC cuts energy use by up to 37%
On the appliance side, the FreshIN 3.0 Ultra air conditioner uses a data-driven AI model to adjust compressor frequency, claiming up to 37% greater energy savings over standard inverter technology, alongside hands-free voice control and real-time air quality monitoring.
The AI SuperDrum Laundry Tower P9 Ultra washer-dryer uses Generative AI Wash to detect load size, fabric type and soil level, then automatically adjusts water, temperature, detergent and cycle time, followed by triple-inverter heat-pump drying. TCL also showed a built-in refrigerator with flush cabinet-style paneling, plus two smart locks: the K11D Pro Dual-Screen model with AI visitor monitoring, and the D2 Pro Matter lock, which uses palm-vein recognition for touchless entry.
The AiMe robot is built to support kids and parents at home
An upgraded TCL NXTHOME concept links smart displays, appliances and design elements, developed with input from Bang & Olufsen, Roche Bobois, Castelli Milano 1938, Chris Lefteri Design and WGSN. The AiMe Family Companion Robot offers multimodal interaction aimed at children's learning and daily family routines, while a SunPower Origin solar panel combines back-contact and shingled cell technology for home energy use.
As IFA coincides with the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2026 in Berlin, TCL, a global FIBA partner, added basketball-themed fan activities to the Inspiration Habitat space. The exhibit runs through September 8, 2026.
