Dubai – September 15, 2026 -- Bybit, the world's second-largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, has officially launched Bybit AI, a conversational assistant that lets users trade, manage accounts, and get customer support through a single chat interface inside the Bybit app.
Users type requests in plain language and Bybit AI carries out the action
Instead of navigating separate menus and dashboards for tasks like checking a portfolio balance, placing a trade, or filing a support ticket, users can simply describe what they want and Bybit AI executes it directly in the chat. The company describes the tool as a co-pilot for daily trading and account management.
"Bybit AI is a key part of our roadmap for the 'New Financial Platform,'" said Ben Zhou, co-founder and CEO of Bybit. He said the goal is to let users tell the assistant what they want to do and have it surface the right products and services, comparing it to carrying a team of financial experts in one's pocket.
The rollout covers two modules: an all-purpose AI assistant and smarter support
In its first phase, Bybit AI covers core functions across spot, futures, and options trading, Bybit Earn, Copy Trading, Trading Bot, loans, P2P, Bybit Card, Spot X, the Rewards Hub, and notification and subscription management. A second module integrates AI-assisted customer support alongside human agents, aimed at resolving user inquiries faster.
Rockman Zhang, Bybit's CTO, said the intent isn't to add another dashboard or bolt on another chatbot, but to let users find what they need and take action in one place through a single interface.
A separate sub-account isolates AI activity from a user's main balance
Eligible users must activate the feature first, which creates a dedicated Bybit AI sub-account. Bybit built the system on what it calls a "security-first" architecture, isolating the sub-account from a user's main balance to limit potential AI-related risk. The setup requires no API key or manual configuration.
Bybit also outlined plans to connect its services through an open API, aiming to unify trading, yield products, loans, card services, and customer support into one experience. Ben Zhou demonstrated the assistant live on September 9, 2026, at 08:00 UTC via a Bybit livestream.
