Berlin – September 10, 2026 -- Hisense showcased its AI Companion suite at IFA 2026 in Berlin, demonstrating how connected AI, powered by ConnectLife, can automate kitchen, laundry and living room tasks.
A smart fridge starts the cooking process
In the kitchen demo, asking 'What should I cook?' prompts the smart refrigerator to identify stored ingredients and suggest meal ideas based on personal preferences. Once a recipe is chosen, it syncs with the AI Companion Oven for automatic cooking, while the AI Companion Wine Cabinet recommends pairings and maintains proper storage conditions. After the meal, the AI Companion Dishwasher reads the state of the dishes and adjusts the wash cycle accordingly.
Laundry cycles adjust automatically to fabric type
The AI Companion Laundry Suite recognizes clothing characteristics and selects the appropriate wash and dry cycles, adjusting the process automatically for a hands-off laundry experience.
Climate and energy systems respond to real-time conditions
The AI Companion Air Conditioner detects ambient conditions and user presence, adjusting airflow as people move through a room. The AI Companion Energy System factors in weather and time-based electricity rates to optimize household energy consumption.
Alexa+ will control select Hisense air conditioners
Hisense is partnering with Amazon to become one of the first appliance brands to integrate smart home devices with the Alexa+ AI assistant, using Amazon's new smart home AI toolkit. Available in the coming months, Alexa+ users will be able to control select Hisense air conditioners with voice commands, as Alexa+ processes the request, navigates settings, and executes the action automatically.
IFA judges awarded five Hisense products
The Multi Function II series, a low-energy climate control solution, received the top award, while the X-zone Master earned an honorable mention. The U8 Air Master air conditioner, the W60 3D kitchen series, and a 60cm built-in wine cabinet were also recognized.
V AIOS powers device-to-device communication
Across its IFA displays, Hisense demonstrated its Smart Home Companion capabilities through V AIOS, a system that lets devices detect what's happening, plan actions, communicate with users and other devices, and execute tasks by coordinating multiple devices and services autonomously.
