Polymarket Launches 'Squads' to Let Friends Trade Predictions Together

New York – September 11, 2026 -- Polymarket has introduced Squads, a new social feature inside its US app that lets friends create private groups to discuss markets, share trading picks and place bets together on the same platform.

Squads turns group chats into a shared trading floor

The feature allows users to form private groups, chat about games and market predictions, and share positions or combos with fellow members. Users can also see what others in their Squad are trading and place trades directly from shared positions, though each member still trades through their own individual Polymarket account.

"People are constantly debating what's going to happen next with their friends and sharing predictions in group chats," said Travis VanderZanden, Chief Growth Officer at Polymarket. "With Squads, we're bringing the conversation and trading together so friends can follow the events they care about and make their predictions in one place."

The launch is timed to the start of football season

VanderZanden noted there was no better moment to roll out the feature than right before football season kicks off, positioning Squads as a way for groups of fans to track games and market odds side by side.

A star-studded ad campaign accompanies the rollout

Alongside Squads, Polymarket is debuting an inaugural football-season marketing campaign called Polymarket HQ, directed by Peter Berg. The campaign features LeBron James, Eli Manning, Derek Jeter, Spike Lee, Sue Bird, Richard Sherman and Rajon Rondo, among others, set inside a fictional Polymarket headquarters where each floor represents a different market category. The spots showcase Squads, live trading, Combos and other platform features.

Squads follows a string of recent product expansions

The feature arrives shortly after Polymarket launched Polymarket Perps, which lets users trade price movements on assets including crypto, stocks, commodities and indices. Polymarket, described as the world's largest prediction market platform, operates its US business as a CFTC-regulated designated contract market under the Commodity Exchange Act.
