TCL Unveils AI-Powered 'Screen Universe' Smart Home Vision at IFA 2026

Berlin – September 10, 2026 -- TCL introduced its "AI Inspired Life" vision at IFA 2026 in Berlin, showcasing an immersive smart-living exhibit called the "Inspiration Habitat" that combines next-generation displays, AI-driven smart home devices and sustainable energy solutions.

The exhibit, built around TCL's "Screen Universe" concept, demonstrates how screens in various forms are becoming intelligent interfaces linking people to content, services and the physical world. Because the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2026 is taking place in Berlin during IFA, TCL extended the showcase to include basketball-inspired fan experiences alongside its product displays.

TCL's flagship TV delivers up to 10,000 nits of HDR brightness

The TCL X11L SQD-Mini LED TV headlines the display lineup, offering up to 100% BT.2020 color coverage, precise local dimming and HDR peak brightness of up to 10,000 nits. TCL also presented the RayNeo GT Max AR Glasses, which the company says is the world's first Dolby Vision-certified AR glasses, extending premium viewing beyond the living room into personal and mobile use.

The NXTHOME ecosystem links displays, appliances and interior design

TCL's NXTHOME ecosystem ties together smart displays, connected home appliances, AI experiences, interior design and sustainable living features into a single adaptive home environment. The AiMe Family Companion Robot uses multimodal interaction and lifelike movement control to engage with household members.

Other AI-enabled appliances on display included the FreshIN 3.0 Ultra Air Conditioner, the TCL Free Built-in Refrigerator, and the TCL AI SuperDrum Laundry Tower P9 Ultra, covering air quality, food storage and laundry care.

Women's basketball energy shapes TCL's Berlin fan activations

With the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2026 running alongside IFA in Berlin, TCL incorporated basketball-themed fan interactions into the Inspiration Habitat exhibit, tying the event into its #TCLforHer campaign.

"At IFA 2026, TCL is showing how AI and display innovation can create more intuitive, immersive and user-centered experiences," said Daniel Sun, Chief Technology Officer of TCL Industries.
