Los Angeles – October 19, 2026 -- Hollywood Park Casino, a 24-hour poker and dining venue within walking distance of SoFi Stadium and Intuit Dome, is marking 10 years in its current building with an anniversary celebration running October 17–24.
Big Game LXI and LA28 put the neighborhood in focus
SoFi Stadium will host The Big Game LXI on February 14, 2027. LA28's Inglewood zone will host swimming, basketball, the Olympic and Paralympic opening ceremonies, and the Main Press Center. The 300-room Kali Hotel, now under development at Hollywood Park, will add overnight accommodation nearby.
Christopher Meany, executive managing director of Hollywood Park Casino Company, LLC, said the casino was an early investment in the idea that an entertainment district needs places people return to between its biggest events.
The casino was the first new venue in the redevelopment
The current building opened in September 2016. Relocating the casino made room for the stadium development and kept alive a business established in 1994. Management estimates the investment in the 110,000-square-foot building at roughly $100 million, excluding real estate.
125 tables and three hospitality spaces anchor the floor
The tables offer poker, including Texas Hold'em and Omaha, plus California games such as baccarat and "No Bust" blackjack. Simulcast wagering continues the property's tie to horse racing. Century Bar & Grill, Raise Lounge and the Turf Club host dining, cocktails and private events, and outdoor-deck gatherings bring fans together before and after Chargers home games.
Artwork on site includes pieces by Mickalene Thomas and Matt Wedel, along with Michele Asselin's photographs of the former racetrack.
650 employees keep the doors open year-round
Most of the casino's roughly 650 employees were there when the building opened in 2016, and some have worked there since 1994. General manager Deven Kumar said he wants that same sense of welcome to greet first-time visitors as more people discover this part of Los Angeles.
Inglewood's adopted budget reports $5.15 million in card-club monthly fees collected in fiscal year 2024–25. The casino also hosts community fundraisers. Its Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Los Angeles poker tournament raised more than $52,000 for youth programs in 2024.
