Loews Hotels Launches In-Room Workouts and City Walking Maps for Guests

New York – September 13, 2026 -- Loews Hotels & Co has rolled out Active Stays by Loews Hotels, a new fitness and wellness program available at its properties nationwide starting September 9. The initiative, developed with fitness trainer Makena Rae, gives guests flexible ways to move during a stay, from ten-minute in-room routines to full-morning walking tours.

In-room TVs now stream equipment-free workouts

Guests can access a curated library of short, guided sessions through their guest room television, including mobility exercises, bodyweight strength routines, and recovery workouts designed for hotel rooms. The digital series was created in partnership with Makena Rae for travelers who don't have time to visit the gym.

Each property offers a destination-specific movement experience

Loews Regency New York Hotel's Run. Rest. Regency Marathon Package includes a $50 daily food and beverage credit per room, a Central Park running map, and late check-out, plus complimentary branded pickleball paddles and balls. Live! by Loews – Arlington and Loews Arlington Hotel are partnering with the City of Arlington's Walktober initiative in October, offering curated walking maps around local sports venues, museums, and Mark Holtz Lake. Loews Chicago Hotel introduces a Route 66-themed walking and jogging map starting at the hotel and running to Navy Pier. Loews Atlanta Hotel has expanded its exhale® Atlanta wellness space through a partnership with Salt Fitness, adding Pilates reformer classes, coach-led strength sessions, and a recovery studio with contrast therapy, red light therapy, and compression treatments.

Menus are shifting toward hydration and protein

Properties are refreshing food and beverage offerings with hydration-focused and protein-forward options, alongside grab-and-go snacks and seasonal menu items available through restaurants, lounges, and in-room dining.

The launch follows a March 2026 Peloton survey of more than 3,000 active travelers, which found 60% valued hotel fitness amenities as much as or more than other perks. Kristie Goshow, Chief Commercial Officer at Loews Hotels & Co, said the program was built around the idea that movement and wellness help guests feel like happier, healthier versions of themselves during travel.
