Rockford Venue Launches $60–$90 Wedding Packages With Perks

Rockford – October 29, 2026 -- Couples planning a wedding in Rockford, Illinois, can now choose from three "Riverview Romance" packages at Cliffbreakers Event Center, priced from $60 to $90 per person and open to events of up to 500 guests. Those who book by January 6, 2027 and hold their event before December 31, 2027 also get a private advance menu tasting, complimentary ceremony setup and bonus hors d'oeuvres.

All three packages waive space rental and include a hotel stay

Prices are before tax, service and any custom additions. Each package waives the event space rental fee with a minimum food and beverage spend. Each also includes a complimentary getting-ready suite and wedding-night accommodations for the couple.

Silver, Gold and Diamond add more bar time and menu upgrades
  • Silver, from $60 per person: a two-hour open bar and classic entrées such as herb-roasted pork tenderloin.
  • Gold, from $75 per person: a three-hour bar, a Champagne or sparkling cider toast and upgraded menu options such as Chicken Marsala.
  • Diamond, from $90 per person: a four-hour premium bar, Maryland-style mini crabcakes, and mains such as prime rib and baked salmon. It also includes rehearsal space, cake cutting, upgraded linens and turn-down Champagne with chocolate-covered strawberries. The couple gets a complimentary overnight stay the night before the wedding, on the wedding night and on their one-year anniversary.

Director of Sales and Catering Danniela Solano says the range of price points lets couples build a wedding that "feels truly personal" and fits their budget.

The venue overlooks the Rock River and hosts up to 2,000 guests

Cliffbreakers sits at 700 W. Riverside Blvd. inside the Riverview Inn and Suites hotel. It offers 70,000 square feet of configurable ballrooms, from intimate gatherings to receptions for up to 2,000 guests. Private meeting spaces can host welcome cocktails, rehearsal dinners and day-after brunches, so a whole wedding weekend can happen in one place. The decor includes antiques, romantic fireplaces and crystal chandeliers.

The connected hotel has 82 guest rooms, free onsite parking, a restaurant, an indoor pool, a gym and complimentary breakfast for overnight guests. Group room blocks are available for family and friends.

A bilingual coordinator and an award-winning chef staff the events

The hospitality team includes a Spanish-speaking wedding coordinator and Executive Chef Jonathon Powers, described as the venue's award-winning culinary lead.

General manager Bianca Sanders says the onsite hotel also makes the venue a practical choice for couples from the greater Chicago area and neighboring Illinois and Wisconsin communities who want a larger space or more flexible options.
