Berlin – September 12, 2026 -- Hypershell closed out its IFA 2026 presence in Berlin with the world debut of the Hypershell Halo, an exoskeleton the company says is the first in the industry to coordinate four motorized hip and knee joints in a single system.
The Halo weighs 2.6 kg and folds down to under 8 liters
The device delivers a peak power output of 1,490 W and up to 20 km of battery-powered range, folding small enough to fit in a backpack, according to Hypershell.
Hypershell collected 21 industry awards during the five-day show
Outlets including TechRadar, GameStar.de, T3, Netzwelt and Tom's Guide handed out nearly 20 of those honors. The brand also received "Best in Mobility" and "Best in Design" recognition as an Honoree at the IFA Innovation Awards 2026.
Booth visitors logged over 800,000 steps testing the exoskeletons
Attendees ranging from outdoor enthusiasts to industry professionals and general consumers tried the full product lineup throughout the fair, testing AI-based gait synchronization and adaptive support. Some visitors rented Hypershell exoskeletons to move more comfortably around the exhibition halls.
Hypershell donated eight exoskeletons worth €7,992 to a UK walking charity
Under its "Every Step Counts" initiative, the company converted the steps taken during in-booth trials into a donation of eight X Pro S exoskeletons to Ramblers, a British charity focused on walking accessibility.
The company is expanding retail experience zones across Europe
Hypershell now partners with Mediaworld and Unieuro in Italy, Decathlon and Fnac in France, Globetrotter in Germany, Intersport and Bründl Sports in Austria, and Lehner in Switzerland to give local shoppers hands-on access to its exoskeletons.
