SATELLAI Sense AI turns raw pet data into plain-language insights
The company's SATELLAI Sense AI system combines pet activity data, owner-provided information, and breed-specific context to build behavioral baselines and flag meaningful changes over time. New features -- Pet Personality Portraits, Pet Diary, and Virtual Pet Nanny -- translate daily activity patterns into narrative summaries rather than raw metrics. SATELLAI founder and CEO Mark Mao said the goal is to help owners understand patterns and behavioral changes that are hard to notice day to day. The company states Sense AI is intended to raise awareness of behavioral and wellness changes, not to diagnose medical conditions.
The SATELLAI Cat Tag weighs about 4 grams and targets indoor cats
The Cat Tag, SATELLAI's first wearable built specifically for cats, connects via Bluetooth and attaches to a safety collar to track activity and behavior for indoor felines. A preview of a follow-up device, the SATELLAI Cat Tag Pro, adds LTE connectivity and GPS for cats that spend time outdoors. Both products are slated to launch in the US, Europe, and Japan by the end of 2026.
The Tracker Ultra uses a satellite link for dogs beyond cell range
The harness-mounted SATELLAI Tracker Ultra pairs a Qualcomm 9205S modem with Skylo's satellite network, combining GPS with direct satellite connectivity so location data can transmit even outside terrestrial mobile coverage.
Deutsche Telekom IoT and Swift Navigation back SATELLAI's global expansion
SATELLAI is working with Deutsche Telekom IoT to explore how global IoT connectivity can support international expansion and future connected pet products. A separate collaboration with Swift Navigation focuses on improving positioning reliability for SATELLAI's connected devices. The company received Best of IFA honors from German tech outlets PCWelt and ComputerBild, following a Best of CES 2026 win in the Pet Tech category from CNET.
