Los Angeles – September 23, 2026 -- Speediance is moving beyond its original smart home gym, unveiling a four-product hardware lineup paired with a new AI experience app now in public beta across 105 markets.
Four devices now cover different training needs
The flagship Gym Monster Ultra offers up to 260 pounds of digital resistance across 33 cable positions, with a vertical high-lat pulldown and adjustable thigh restraint for advanced strength work. The freestanding Gym Monster 3 provides up to 220 pounds of resistance through 19 cable positions without wall mounting, while the portable, 8.2-kilogram Gym Nano delivers up to 220 pounds of resistance along with real-time velocity, power and asymmetry data. The Speediance Strap, a screen-free wearable using greenteg Calera technology, tracks wrist-based core-body-temperature trends to add context on training, recovery, sleep and heat exposure.
Three AI projects target movement, recovery and future-state modeling
Speediance is developing three internal AI capabilities. Votus analyzes 3D movement and exercise execution, including repetition speed, using a single phone camera. Oryn is designed to evaluate exercise, nutrition and sleep data to support decisions like adjusting training load or prioritizing recovery. Somni, described as a technology preview, is a research project modeling how training and recovery choices might influence fatigue, sleep, appetite and physical capacity. Speediance states Somni is not intended for medical diagnosis or treatment, and none of the three names are commercial product brands.
A new app ties the system together without requiring Speediance hardware
AEVIS, now available as a standalone iOS app in public beta, is built to retain context across training history, recovery signals, sleep, nutrition and daily schedules. Paired with Apple Watch, it can function using existing health and activity data alone. For owners of Speediance gym equipment, AEVIS can also generate customized workouts and send them directly to the machines.
The system runs on what Speediance calls the CARE Loop
The loop collects data, analyzes it with AI, recommends workouts or recovery plans, and executes them through Speediance hardware, with each completed session feeding back into the next cycle. Speediance confirms AEVIS does not yet autonomously control Gym Monster resistance settings, calling deeper hardware integration a future roadmap item.
