Widex Allure AI Hearing Aid With Clarity Boost Reaches the U.S.

Lynge – October 14, 2026 -- Widex Allure AI RIC with Clarity Boost, a hearing aid that adds AI noise reduction at the tap of a button, is now available in 15 additional countries, including the U.S. and major European markets. In the U.S., it arrives beginning in October 2026.

Wearers who want to know exactly when it reaches their clinic should ask their hearing care professional to contact the local Widex sales manager, who has the specific availability dates.

One tap switches on AI help in noisy places

Widex first introduced Allure AI RIC in May. The hearing aid keeps the brand's natural sound as its baseline, powered by the W1 chip and Precision Hearing Technology. When a room gets noisy, a single tap activates the Clarity Boost program, which engages a dedicated AI co-processor.

Clarity Boost uses an audio-specific neural network designed to preserve sound quality. It reduces noise while keeping wearers aware of the sounds around them.

Widex reports a fivefold preference over AI-denoising rivals

In comparative research, 5x more wearers preferred Allure AI RIC with Clarity Boost over key competitors with AI-based denoising in real-world listening situations. In a conversation with two alternating talkers, Clarity Boost delivered up to 20% better speech understanding and up to 13% less listening effort. The comparison was against two premium hearing aids that use AI-based denoising. The data comes from a 2026 study by Bianchi et al. (WidexPress 65).

Zen Therapy returns to Widex Compass Cloud

The latest Widex Compass Cloud release reintroduces integrated Zen Therapy for tinnitus. Support spans Zen listening programs in Compass Cloud, help in the Widex Allure app, and online counseling tools. Hearing care professionals can use them to personalize tinnitus support, and wearers can fold it into daily life.

Ngozi Amobi, Head of Widex, said strong demand and enthusiastic responses from hearing care professionals drove the wider rollout. Additional Zen features, adding fitting flexibility and further personalization, are planned for upcoming Compass Cloud releases.
