The Valkyries went from expansion team to champions in two seasons
Golden State joined the league just last year as the WNBA's first expansion team since 2008. In that inaugural season, the Valkyries set a league record for the most wins by an expansion team and advanced to the playoffs. They have now captured the franchise's first WNBA title.
New Era calls itself the league's Official Cap
New Era is the Official Cap of the WNBA. Tim Shanahan, Senior Director of Licensed Products at New Era, said the collection honors the team's championship run and its electric fan base.
