The Pet Vest fits like a harness across a dog's chest, stomach, and back, and comes in medium and large sizes to fit different breeds. It delivers light therapy simultaneously to the back and belly for full-body support, offering four modes -- steady, calm, recovery, and wellness -- and three intensity levels: low, medium, and high. Owners are instructed to use it for 20 minutes, three to four times per week.
The Pet Joint Wrap targets leg and joint areas, aimed at larger dogs prone to deep-tissue stiffness and injury.
Research cited by the company links light therapy to reduced pain medication use in dogs
Capillus cites research finding that red light therapy helped 81 percent of dogs with arthritis reduce their reliance on daily pain medications. The company also points to studies showing dogs receiving targeted light therapy saw improvements in joint movement, stride, and flexibility lasting up to 90 days after treatment.
