Hamburg – October 29, 2026 -- The TITAN UPGRADE S20 carry-on trolley, priced at €259.95, shares the top spot in a Stiftung Warentest comparison of 17 carry-on suitcases. In issue 6/2026, it earned an overall grade of "Good" (1.8).
The S20 is the only suitcase rated "very good" for packing
Testers gave the trolley "very good" marks for packing comfort, effortless pushing and pulling, and for usage instructions and declaration. No other suitcase in the test reached "very good" for packing.
It also scored "very good" in the durability categories of workmanship, the caster and telescopic handle endurance test, and zippers and seams.
Stiftung Warentest judged four categories
The test covered handling, durability, environmental properties and pollutants. Handling included opening and closing, the telescopic handle, stability and packing comfort. Durability tests covered workmanship, endurance and drop tests, rain resistance, and the quality of zippers and seams. Noise, repairability and pollutant content also fed into the final grade.
TITAN has built every suitcase in Germany since 2020
Oliver Gruber, member of TITAN's management, said the company is proud of the result. In 2020, TITAN began manufacturing all its suitcases exclusively at its own plant in Germany, and Gruber says the test win confirms that decision. The luggage is designed in Hamburg and Bavaria and finished by hand in the Bavarian Forest.
The S20 measures 40 x 55 x 20 cm and weighs 2.7 kg
The carry-on holds 38 liters. It comes in six colors: Forest Green, Canyon Bronze, Midnight Blue, Nightshade Black, Moonstone Grey and Emberwood Red. It is sold across Germany through specialist retailers and the TITAN website.
