Dubai – September 17, 2026 -- Gorenje has launched the G600 dishwasher in the UAE and wider Middle East, an appliance the company says uses 10 percent less energy than the A-class industry standard while delivering full cleaning performance.
Smart Dosing cuts refills to once a month
The G600's Smart Dosing feature lets households fill the detergent container once and run up to 20 wash cycles, roughly a month of use, without refilling. The system automatically dispenses the precise detergent amount for each selected programme, aiming to reduce waste.
An optional UV light targets 99.99 percent of bacteria
An optional UV Light Function claims to eliminate 99.99 percent of bacteria and viruses, even during lower-temperature cycles such as Eco at 55°C. The machine offers six programmes: Eco, Auto, Intensive, Daily, Night, and Hygiene.
SmartUltra Dry uses a fan and a self-opening door
To handle drying, the SmartUltra Dry feature runs a fan to clear hot steam from the tub after each cycle, while the door opens slightly to let fresh air circulate. Gorenje says this fully dries plastic dishes and protects kitchen counters from steam damage.
The Night Programme runs 2 dB quieter for late washes
For nighttime use, the Night Programme operates at 2 dB below standard cycles. Additional design details include a BottleWash Holder that secures various bottle sizes with a targeted water jet, and an upper spray arm for cutlery that Gorenje says improves cleaning efficiency by 30 percent.
Gorenje ties the launch to Gulf housing growth
Gorenje, part of Hisense Group, points to expanding residential communities in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar -- including villas, townhouses, and branded residences -- as driving demand for higher-performance kitchen appliances. Ismail Al Horani, Vice President for Middle East & Africa at Hisense, said the G600 was built to save time and energy while fitting different household types, from busy professionals to families.
