When users select Slow Motion mode, the feeder records 1080P video at up to 120 FPS, letting owners replay, download, and share footage of fast movements like hummingbird wingbeats, takeoffs, and landings. Clips can be viewed at normal speed, which includes audio, or in slow motion, which plays back silently.
An AI platform called FeatherPal identifies and tracks returning visitors
Kiwibit's FeatherPal intelligence platform, built into the companion app, identifies bird species from each recorded visit and lets users name and recognize familiar returning birds. Features include Nature Expert for learning about species and behavior, a Visit History and Bird Collection archive, and shareable PostCards of favorite moments.
A 5-watt solar panel and swappable battery cut down on charging
The feeder pairs a 5-watt solar panel with a removable 5,200 mAh battery; two hours of charging reportedly provides up to three days of use. An IP65-rated enclosure is built to withstand outdoor dust and water exposure.
Two seed compartments hold a combined 1.7 liters
A removable dual-compartment hopper holds up to 1.7 liters total, letting owners load two different seed types at once. The feeder supports wall, pole, or tree-strap mounting.
