Irvine – September 08, 2026 -- The new 2027 Kia Telluride has earned the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety's highest honor, the 2026 TOP SAFETY PICK+ (TSP+) designation. The award makes Telluride the fifth Kia model to receive the 2026 TSP+ rating in the U.S., joining the K4, EV9, Sorento and Sportage.

IIHS tightened its 2026 testing standards

The institute strengthened its criteria this year to prioritize rear-seat passenger protection and improve crash-prevention performance. Updated protocols now require stricter rear-passenger safety in moderate overlap frontal crashes, along with tougher standards for pedestrian detection and high-speed vehicle-to-vehicle collision prevention.

Irvine, Calif. – September 07, 2026 -- Aurzen has unveiled the ZIP Pro, a tri-fold pocket projector the company calls the world's first Full HD device of its kind, and marked the launch with a display in Times Square ahead of IFA 2026.

The ZIP Pro unfolds to project an 80-inch Full HD screen and is designed for use in settings ranging from hotel rooms and campsite tents to the inside of a Tesla, according to Aurzen.

A compact chassis tackles the brightness problem

Aurzen says fitting Full HD performance into a pocket-sized device required solving a common projector design bottleneck: maximizing brightness without a bulky housing. The company built ZIP Pro on what it describes as a proprietary optical architecture engineered to balance volume, thermal dissipation, and light output within an ultra-compact frame.
