Berlin – September 08, 2026 -- Dyson has revealed 13 new products that build artificial intelligence, machine learning and camera systems directly into everyday household devices, marking what Chief Engineer Jake Dyson called a shift from purely mechanical products to intelligent systems that "see, think and react."
A toothbrush with a built-in camera targets plaque between teeth
The Dyson CameraJet is described as the first toothbrush with an integrated camera -- a 100,000-pixel macro lens powered by Dyson's Gap Optical Targeting system. It analyzes 28 live images per second, using 16 million lines of code trained on more than 470,000 images, to detect gaps between teeth and fire a precise mouthwash pulse exactly where needed. Developed over six years by 661 Dyson engineers, it connects via WiFi and Bluetooth to the MyDyson app for guided cleaning and personalized feedback, though Dyson says no images are recorded or stored. It launches immediately in Germany and Austria for €479.00 (RRP) and in Switzerland for CHF 479.00.
Robot vacuums get UV-assisted stain detection and triangular mopping pads
The new Dyson Nurovi robot vacuum range combines Dyson's Neural Intelligence with a vision system across three models. The flagship R3 Nurovi Spot+Scrub UV uses UV light and AI image processing to identify nearly 200 types of household substances and stains, paired with a self-cleaning wet roller heated to 70°C and a 30,000 Pa motor delivering 65% more suction. It arrives in Germany and Austria in early 2027 for €1,119.00 (RRP), and in Switzerland for CHF 1,119.00.
The R2 Nurovi Wash+Dry introduces Reuleaux-triangle mopping pads designed to reach corners more effectively than round pads, aided by 75°C water and a new Twin-Capture dirt-separation system. It launches in Germany, Austria and Switzerland in late 2026 for €849.00/CHF 849.00 (RRP). The entry-level R1 Nurovi Dry shares the Twin-Capture technology and offers 21,000 Pa suction for hard floors and carpets, priced at €549.00/CHF 549.00 (RRP), also available late 2026.
An updated wet-floor cleaner adds self-cleaning to its charging dock
The Dyson W1 PencilWash, an update to the model launched in early 2026, now features a more absorbent roller and a self-cleaning charge dock while keeping its slim, lightweight design. It is available immediately in Germany and Austria for €349.00 (RRP), and in Switzerland for CHF 349.00.
Dyson's HushJet air technology expands after a sold-out handheld fan
Following the 2025 launch of the HushJet Compact Purifier and an April 2026 HushJet Mini Cool handheld fan that sold out quickly worldwide, Dyson is expanding the HushJet lineup, applying aerospace-derived airflow control principles to home air purification.
