Beverly Hills, Calif. – September 18, 2026 -- Beverage entrepreneur Lance Collins has launched ZenWTR, a vapor-distilled alkaline water brand with a pH of 9.5, now sold at Whole Foods Market, Walmart, Amazon, QuikTrip, Kwik Trip, Bristol Farms and Erewhon, with H-E-B locations adding it starting October 5.
Collins, who previously founded FUZE, NOS, BODYARMOR and CORE Hydration, built ZenWTR through vapor distillation followed by ionization via electrolysis to hit the 9.5 pH mark. A proprietary blend of calcium, potassium and magnesium is added afterward for taste.
The flagship bottle is made entirely from recycled ocean-bound plastic
ZenWTR's signature 20-ounce bottle uses 100% recycled, certified ocean-bound plastic collected from coastal areas with limited recycling infrastructure. The company says this approach creates income opportunities for local collectors while diverting material from the ocean.
ZenWTR claims the world's first Plastic Negative Certification for a beverage
Following a third-party assessment of its plastic footprint, ZenWTR partnered with the Plastic Credit Exchange to fund recovery and recycling of plastic waste equal to 200 percent of its annual footprint. The brand's ocean-bound plastic supply network sources material from Indonesia, Thailand, Ecuador and Paraguay, where partners help establish bottle-deposit and collection programs. ZenWTR also commits 1 percent of revenue to ocean conservation and recycling education in the United States.
Alumi-Tek bottles trigger additional plastic recovery
For each qualifying Alumi-Tek bottle produced, ZenWTR says it supports programs that rescue and recycle the equivalent of five ocean-bound plastic bottles.
NFL player Maxx Crosby and a roster of celebrity investors back the brand
Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby said ZenWTR fits his training routine, calling it "crisp and clean" while noting he respects the brand's plastic-reduction efforts. Investors include Travis Kelce, Phil Knight, Bryson DeChambeau, Phil Mickelson, James Harden, Jessica Chastain, Anne Hathaway, Aaron Rodgers, Khloé Kardashian, Zoë Saldaña, Paris Hilton and Jared Leto.
Collins said the goal is to prove consumers don't have to sacrifice taste or quality to support environmental impact.
