Los Angeles – September 15, 2026 -- Cécred has released Temple Oud Hair Perfume, a $54 standalone fragrance that lets fans wear the brand's signature scent independent of its haircare line for the first time.
The perfume rolls out across three retail channels this month
The 1.7 fl oz bottle became available on cecred.com starting September 10, followed by the Ulta Beauty App on September 17 and ULTA Beauty stores nationwide on September 19. It marks Cécred's first fragrance-focused product since the brand launched in 2024.
Temple Oud has already built a following inside Cécred's existing products
The scent runs through the brand's Foundation and Styling Collections, and customers have repeatedly asked for a way to wear it beyond wash day, according to the company.
The fragrance layers bergamot, jasmine, oud, sandalwood and vetiver
It opens with bergamot and night-blooming jasmine, moves into deep oud, and settles into creamy Australian sandalwood and Haitian vetiver. Cécred says the formula is built around hair's porous structure, which holds scent longer than skin and allows it to diffuse gradually throughout the day. The perfume is also infused with antioxidants.
Tina Knowles ties the scent to memory and tradition

Ray said hair fragrance has "evolved into a category in its own right," with customers seeking a more elevated, sensorial experience from their haircare beyond wash day.
The bottle design is patent-pending
Temple Oud Hair Perfume comes in a heavy-walled glass bottle with a fine-mist spray and chrome cap, designed to be layered with existing Cécred products or worn on its own.
