New York – September 17, 2026 -- Zocdoc launched a new marketing campaign called "Ready to be Seen?" on September 14, aimed at making it easier for patients to book appointments with doctors who actually fit their needs.
Nearly half of patients dread finding a doctor
A recent Zocdoc survey found that 42% of patients say booking a doctor feels like finding a needle in a haystack, while 48% say they dread the process altogether.
Getting an appointment isn't enough for most patients
The same survey found 71% of patients say finding the right doctor matters as much as getting an appointment quickly, and 50% wish providers took more time to understand them. Notably, 71% say they're more likely to be honest with a doctor when they feel understood.
Zocdoc pairs fast booking with detailed provider matching
The platform lets patients find in-network doctors with near-term availability and book instantly, while using verified patient reviews and detailed provider profiles to help them choose a doctor suited to their specific needs.
"Patients shouldn't have to work this hard or compromise this much to get great care," said Brian Irving, Chief Marketing Officer at Zocdoc. He said the campaign is about making it easier for patients to both get through the door and find a doctor who makes them feel truly seen.
Campaign ads highlight hyper-specific patient scenarios
Developed with creative agency SpecialGuest, the campaign features scenarios like a runner searching for a podiatrist who won't tell him to quit marathon training, and a patient looking for an allergist who accepts that his girlfriend and her cat come as a "package deal."
The campaign rolls out over several months across TV, audio, social, and digital channels, with out-of-home advertising appearing in New York City and Houston.
