September 03, 2026 – Juno Beach -- Florida Power & Light Company has launched a new online Assistance Center that consolidates bill-help programs, federal aid options and local nonprofit resources into a single searchable hub at FPL.com/Assistance.

The centerpiece is FPL Saving Steps, a new program that teaches income-qualified customers practical ways to cut everyday energy use. Participants who complete the program can earn a one-time $200 credit toward a future electric bill.

FPL rolls out the center as summer heat pushes bills higher

Dawn Nichols, FPL's vice president of customer service, said the tool is meant to make support easier to find, whether customers need help today, want to lower future bills, or need assistance with other costs like medical bills, rent or mortgage payments. She added that customers who don't qualify for government aid should check whether they qualify for Saving Steps.
