Kasendorf – October 29, 2026 -- Dog owners can now ask feeding, allergy and behavior questions in the Wuffio app and receive a personalized answer within a short time, tailored to their dog's age, breed and weight.
The app replaces generic web advice with tailored answers
Felix Tierwelt UG developed Wuffio as an alternative to online forums and search engines, which often give unspecific recommendations. The company says the app takes an evidence-based, advisory approach and is built on more than 2,000 personal consultations. Content is written without unnecessary jargon.
According to a user-survey evaluation cited by the company, more than two-thirds of dog owners regularly have questions about healthy nutrition and health problems. Most of them turn to the internet, which tends to leave them more uncertain than informed.
A question-and-answer system sits at the core
Users describe their concerns about feeding, allergies or behavior through a digital question-and-answer system. Answers are based on science and adjusted to the animal's age, breed, weight and individual particularities.
A daily quiz and weekly news add to the advice
A daily quiz tests knowledge on dog feeding and dog health. Each correct answer earns one point, and top participants are regularly recognized and can win products as small prizes. A weekly news section called "Futterpost" sends current tips on nutrition and products straight to the smartphone.
Wuffio covers one user's vet bill each month
Once a month, the app pays the most recent vet bill, up to 2,000 euros, for a randomly selected user. Wuffio also donates five percent of all revenue to animal welfare projects in German-speaking countries. The community chooses the recipient organizations by vote, and the selection is documented transparently.
