Munich – November 04, 2026 -- E.ON Energie Deutschland has launched "TreueStrom", an electricity tariff that pays customers 240 euros in bonuses over their first 24 months of supply.
Three 80-euro payments go straight to your bank account
The bonus is split into three payments of 80 euros each. They are paid at the start of supply, after 12 months and after 24 months. E.ON does not offset them against bills. It pays them directly into the customer's checking account.
The tariff also includes a 24-month price guarantee.
E.ON sends a follow-up offer automatically before month 24
Before the 24 months of supply end, E.ON automatically sends customers a follow-up offer. Customers do not need to switch providers themselves. Martin Endress, managing director for customer business at E.ON Energie Deutschland, said the aim is to give customers financial benefits and planning certainty without unnecessary switching effort.
E.ON Plus and Home Comfort add extra savings
TreueStrom customers can join the E.ON Plus benefits program. It offers discounts for bundling certain energy contracts. In the E.ON Vorteilswelt, members get price advantages at partners across Germany, reduced admission to amusement parks, zoos and museums, and discounts on sports and wellness offers.
The tariff is also compatible with E.ON Home Comfort, an add-on that rewards flexible use of an electric car, heat pump and battery storage. Customers receive bonuses for automatic, grid-supporting control of these devices. They can lower their energy costs without cutting consumption or giving up comfort.
