NinjaTrader Launches Futures-Only Trading Platform in the UK

NinjaTrader Launches Futures-Only Trading Platform in the UK

Chicago – October 28, 2026 -- UK traders can now open accounts on NinjaTrader, a futures-only platform that accepts deposits in GBP or USD and runs on desktop, web, and mobile.

Direct exchange access for UK traders

The platform gives UK users access to global futures markets, including U.S. equity index, energy, metals, and FX futures on CME and EUREX. NinjaTrader says the offering includes exchange-listed contracts, a public order book, and transparent per-contract pricing.

The UK launch follows NinjaTrader's earlier 2026 expansion into Germany, Italy, France, the Netherlands, Spain, and other EU markets.

Tools built around futures

The platform offers SuperDOM order entry, stop-loss and bracket orders, and strategy automation through NinjaScript. A native TradingView integration brings familiar charting into NinjaTrader's futures markets.

Practice first with virtual funds

UK traders can try the platform free in a full-featured simulation environment to test execution and refine strategies before trading live. The simulator uses virtual funds, so trades there are hypothetical and result in no actual market positions, gains, or losses. The mobile app is available on the App Store and Google Play.

Futures volumes climbed 18.4% in a year

NinjaTrader points to Futures Industry Association data showing global futures trading reached 3.18 billion contracts in July, up 18.4% from the same month a year earlier. Chris Tripp, General Manager, Retail at NinjaTrader Group, said UK traders had asked for direct market access, more transparent pricing and execution, and a modern platform built exclusively for futures.

CEO Martin Franchi said the company has spent 20 years refining its trading experience. NinjaTrader says it has served almost 4.5 million traders since 2003.

Risks and regulatory status

Futures trading involves substantial risk, and losses may exceed the initial investment. NinjaTrader is an overseas firm and is not authorised by the UK Financial Conduct Authority. Investors are not protected by the UK Financial Services Compensation Scheme. The launch communication was approved by Gateway 21 Limited, which is authorised and regulated by the FCA.
