Nashville – September 20, 2026 -- Husband-and-wife music duo The Swansons have released their new single, "Hey God, It's Me Again," alongside four nominations at the upcoming Josie Music Awards. The duo will attend the ceremony at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville on Sunday, September 20.
The duo scored nods across four distinct categories
The Swansons are nominated for Album of the Year for "Seven," Song of the Year for both "Pray" and "Stick & Stones," and Duo of the Year. The nominations come from the Josie Music Awards, an annual event recognizing independent music artists and industry professionals.
Their new single explores everyday conversations with faith
"Hey God, It's Me Again" centers on the personal, everyday exchanges people have with God, touching on uncertainty, gratitude, hope, and the need for connection. The track continues the duo's pattern of drawing on their shared journey, faith, and marriage in their songwriting.
The Swansons said the timing of the nominations alongside their new release makes this "a very special time" for them, adding they are honored to be recognized among other independent artists heading to Nashville for the ceremony.
