New York – October 11, 2026 -- Talking Heads Radio, a pop-up SiriusXM channel devoted to the band's catalog, launches October 1 on channel 145 and runs in cars through October 22. On the SiriusXM app, it stays available through October 31.
All four band members share stories on air
The channel features music and exclusive true stories from David Byrne, Chris Frantz, Jerry Harrison and Tina Weymouth. Listeners get the band's favorite tracks and deep cuts, plus commentary from some of the band's influences and the latest on upcoming projects.
Guest DJ sets come from Adam Clayton, Nate Mendel, The Linda Lindas, Tunde Adebimpe, Trey Anastasio and others.
A rare four-member Q&A airs on launch day
All four members will appear together before a live audience at SiriusXM's New York City studios on Monday, September 28, at 7:00 pm ET. Este Haim, bass guitarist and vocalist of the band Haim, hosts the Front Row Q&A.
The full conversation airs on Talking Heads Radio on Thursday, October 1, at 12:00 pm ET. It will also be available on demand in the SiriusXM app.
The band said it looks forward to sharing the music and some of the stories behind it with longtime fans and those discovering Talking Heads for the first time.
