New Plymouth MDL gym will see people convert human energy into electricity
SHERIDAN, WYOMING – April 5, 2022 – A state of the art fitness centre that converts your workout into electricity is opening in Plymouth next month.
Opening in Queen Anne’s Battery, the new MDL gym will be one of just four in the country that will convert your kinetic energy into utility-grade electricity.
It comes as MDL Marinas, the operator behind Queen Anne’s Battery, expands its brand to include fitness centres.

The 35-plus station gym makes use of SportArt ECO-POWR™ equipment, a brand new range that efficiently converts 75% of the energy you put out during a workout into electricity.
