Berlin – – September 09, 2026 -- DeerRun is using IFA Berlin 2026 to show how home treadmills can double as social workout arenas, letting users race friends worldwide through its PitPat platform. The exhibit runs through September 8 at Messe Berlin, Hall 12, Booth 141.
Connected equipment turns exercise into a shared race
Compatible DeerRun machines link to PitPat, a platform that overlays virtual routes, leaderboards and challenges onto real-world movement. At the booth, a 30-minute team relay pits "Team World" against "Team Berlin," with each side's combined distance tracked live on screen.
DeerRun's general manager says the goal is habit, not just hardware
"Most home-fitness equipment is bought with good intentions and abandoned within months," said Tex Yang, General Manager at DeerRun. He said pairing equipment with PitPat effectively turns a treadmill into a stadium, since users can race friends abroad and have a reason to return the next day.
Three PitPat-compatible machines are on display
DeerRun is showing three products built for different spaces and training goals: the Sleek Fold SE, a slim walking pad for staying active during work; the Flex Rise 1, a compact folding treadmill for home running; and the Apex Rise 1, an incline trainer for hill-style climbing workouts.
The brand is expanding its U.S. retail footprint
The United States is one of DeerRun's core markets. Customers can test the full product line at the company's store at 829 S Mason Rd, Unit 260, in Katy, Texas, near Houston, which is supported by a local team and after-sales service.
