The JOOLA x Aoki HiROQUEST Collection includes two JOOLA x STEVE AOKI Perseus Pro V 16mm pickleball paddles, priced at $349.95 each, and two JOOLA x STEVE AOKI Infinity Carbon table tennis rackets, priced at $199.95 each. Each item features artwork based on HiROQUEST characters Hiro, the protagonist, and Hyro, the antagonist, giving buyers a choice between two colorways.
Every purchase includes a randomized collectible card
Each paddle or racket comes with a JOOLA x HiROQUEST trading card, which can be a base version or a numbered collectible, adding an element of chance to the merchandise drop.
The partnership began with a shared focus on brain health research
Aoki, a longtime pickleball and table tennis player, had already partnered with JOOLA through the Aoki Foundation to support brain health and active aging research before this product collaboration took shape. Aoki described the JOOLA relationship as one built on genuine friendship rather than a standard sponsorship deal.
HiROQUEST spans albums, graphic novels, and a manga
HiROQUEST started as creative world-building around Aoki's album HiROQUEST: Genesis and has since grown to include two additional studio albums, HiROQUEST 2: Double Helix and HiROQUEST 3: Paragon, along with graphic novels and trading cards. The saga follows Hiro, a genetically augmented meta-human, as he battles his nemesis Hyro across multiple worlds.
JOOLA President and CEO Richard Lee said the collection builds on years of friendship with Aoki, calling the HiROQUEST tie-in a natural next step for the partnership. The collection launched October 6, 2026.
