Candela C-8

SHERIDAN, WYOMING – January 19, 2023 – Candela founder Gustav Hasselskog had announced the launch for this spring – and he kept his promise. Not with a big bang, but with an almost noiseless ‘floating’, a new chapter was added to powerboating. The foiling speedboat Candela C-8 masterly lifted out of the water to foil over the Baltic Sea off Stockholm piloted by Gustav Hasselskog himself.

Now the world’s first all-electric foiling cabin day cruiser is ready for serial production. boot Düsseldorf will see the foiler celebrate its European trade fair debut in the hall. Boasting a bigger range, improved seagoing properties and over-the-air updates it is already now the best-selling electrical premium boat in Europe, say the manufacturers.

Axopar 25 Electric

SHERIDAN, WYOMING – January 19, 2023 – Axopar Boats presents the prototype of the Axopar 25 Electric in cooperation with the Norwegian e-motor producer Evoy. With this move the Scandinavians combine the versatile thrill seeker Axopar 25, which is both safe and sporty to sail, with the environmental friendliness of an electrical outboard motor.

The Evoy motor is the world’s first 300 HP e-outboard motor. The 800V system fed by two 63-kWh gyroscope batteries achieves a maximum speed of 50 knots and boasts impressive torque. The Axopar 25 is one of the few e-powerboats that also has a range of 25 nautical miles per battery charge outside of sheltered waters – at travel speeds between 22 and 30 knots.

Wellcraft 355

SHERIDAN, WYOMING – January 19, 2023 – Wellcraft defies the elements: by launching the Wellcraft 355 the US subsidiary of Bénéteau kicks off a powerful series of deckhouse yachts. In the USA this brand is known for fast, open powerboats. With their latest model the Americans are now boldly pushing the envelope.

The Wellcraft 355 is not only the shipyard’s biggest powerboat at present, but also the first with a closed deckhouse. With this move Wellcraft wants to offer boats to people who also like boating in inhospitable climes and heavy seas.

Her design, featuring a negative front screen and sharp inverted bow, echoes the rugged look of work or pilot boats. The deckhouse includes the two-seat cockpit but also a kitchenette and common area with room for five more people. In good weather a sliding roof lets in light and fresh air. The glazed rear wall can also be opened.

Rodman 690 Ventura CC und Rodman 790 Ventura CC

The 7.70 m long Rodman 690 Ventura CCimmediately catches the eye with her centre console, easing access to the sunbathing areas on the aft and bow.

In the cockpit the rear seat can be supplemented by a side module and a table. Sun roofs are provided for both areas. The day cruiser can be fitted with a porta potti. Powered by a 200 hp outboard the 690 Ventura CC reaches almost 40 knots top speed.

Straight after presenting this new model, Rodman had already started working on new models and additional versions of the new series and have announced another Düsseldorf premiere with the Rodman 790 Ventura CC

Quarken 27

SHERIDAN, WYOMING – January 19, 2023 – Quarken - the new motorboat brand is linguistically derived from Kwarken, as the Finns call the Gulf of Bothnia. The 27-foot model is the first day boat that the Finns are now presenting. It comes in three versions: the open Quarken 27 Open, the Quarken 27 T-Top with GRP roof and the all-weather Quarken 27 Cabin with closed wheelhouse.

The complete trio is coming to Düsseldorf for the first time. All three 27-foot boats are adapted to the new V6 outboard from Yamaha with 300 hp. This enables the Quarken 27 to reach a speed of up to 45 knots. At cruising speed, which should be about a third lower, the boat consumes about 1.5 litres per nautical mile, according to the shipyard.

Parker 720

SHERIDAN, WYOMING – January 19, 2023 – A commitment to heritage. The Parker 720 replaces – and even outperforms – the successful Parker 690 Day Cruiser. Below deck the Parker 720 provides more headroom and bigger berths. And the cockpit has also grown and is further enhanced by a bimini – sun canopy – as a standard feature. Numerous details such as bigger storage compartments and a skirting board are further benefits.

The shape of the hull follows the shipyard’s latest research findings. Those planning for longer trips can opt for diesel heating, a closed head, and hull windows. By launching the Parker 720 the Polish shipyard has accomplished a substantial update.

Four Winns TH36

SHERIDAN, WYOMING – January 19, 2023 – The North American shipyard Four Winns has made a name for itself with open thrill seekers – as racy as they are high-quality. With their Four Winns TH36 catamaran they now translate these qualities into a powerboat for cruising. Plenty of space that can be used flexibly – this catamaran meets the demand both on and below deck. In the aft cockpit you can chose from three different layouts thanks to tables on sliding rails.

The two cabins below deck resemble suites with their queen-size beds, heads with separate showers, wardrobes and indirect lighting.

The Four Winns TH36 can be equipped with two 600 hp or 700 hp outboards. The joystick controls are just as elegant as the catamaran itself.

Flipper 900 DC

SHERIDAN, WYOMING – January 19, 2023 – Flipper, the sporty line by Bella Boats, will present the largest and currently most innovative model in Düsseldorf: the Flipper 900 DC. The boat measuring 9.05 m LOA x 3.05 m beam is extremely fun to drive.

Like each boat built by this Finnish shipyard, the Flipper 900 DC features a speed-hull design allowing for higher speeds and a sporty performance even in rougher seas. This proprietary double frame construction using vacuum technology makes the hull extremely stiff, which in turn contributes to very pleasant cruising properties and reduces noise in the cockpit.

Bénéteau Flyer 8 Sundeck

SHERIDAN, WYOMING – January 19, 2023 – The Bénéteau Flyer 8 Sundeck day cruiser, which the French shipyard is presenting as a German premiere in Düsseldorf, combines style with comfort. Character and elegance are two further qualities of the 8 m boat of the latest Bénéteau generation.

Equipped with one outboard, the Flyer 8 Sundeck features a longer deck profile giving the boat leaner lines and a truly streamlined silhouette. This sporty twist is emphasized by the slanted windows embedded in the hull design. A wide smart walkaround gangway provides excellent access to the generous foredeck.

On and below deck, however, things are comfortable and relaxed: with a comfy cabin and two sunbeds, which is quite a feat for an 8 m class boat with an outboard. Important for day-cruising families: in addition to the easily accessible fridge there is also a separate head available on board.
