The company has begun mass production of tires using three types of ISCC (International Sustainability & Carbon Certification) Plus certified carbon black derived from end-of-life tire pyrolysis oil. This achievement marks a significant milestone in the company's commitment to environmental responsibility and its pursuit of a circular economy.

This breakthrough is the result of a collaborative effort within the Tire-to-Tire Circular Economy Model consortium, a group of 12 Korean companies and institutions, including Hankook Tire, dedicated to establishing a circular economy for tire production in South Korea. The consortium aims to address the growing global demand for carbon neutrality and sustainable materials in the tire industry.

SHERIDAN, WYOMING – November 6, 2024 – Apollo Tyres has launched the Vredestein Traxion CropCare, its first VF (Very-High Flexion) sprayer tire. The new tire has been engineered for trailed and self-propelled sprayers and will be available in two sizes (VF 380/90 R46 and VF 380/105 R50) in early 2025.

Apollo says the tires will set new standards for stability, self-cleaning, and long life in the crop tire segment. The company is confident that the new tire will be a valuable addition to its agricultural tire portfolio.

SHERIDAN, WYOMING – November 6, 2024 – Continental, a leading tire manufacturer, has announced that its SportContact 7 tires have been selected by Brabus for its first-ever supercar, the Rocket GTS. This high-performance vehicle is based on the Mercedes SL and boasts a shooting brake body.

The SportContact 7 tires will be supplied in two sizes: 275/35 ZR 21 for the front axle and 335/25 ZR 22 for the rear axle. These tires will be mounted on Brabus Monoblock P Platinum Edition wheels, which were specially designed for the Rocket GTS. The wheels feature five spokes and a central locking mechanism.

Newly Developed Twin-Cylinder Engine

SHERIDAN, WYOMING – November 4, 2024 – BWT Alpine Formula One Team tackled the challenges of the Autódromo José Carlos Pace Circuit for the São Paulo Grand Prix, Round 21 of the 2024 FIA Formula 1 World Championship. Drivers Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly were eager to take on the iconic circuit and deliver strong results in the final leg of the triple-header.

The São Paulo Grand Prix, held at the legendary Interlagos circuit, was known for its passionate fans, challenging layout, and unpredictable racing. The circuit's combination of high-speed straights, tight corners, and elevation changes demanded precision and skill from the drivers.

Esteban Ocon embraced the unique atmosphere and challenges that the São Paulo Grand Prix presented. He commented, "I am looking forward to heading to Brazil this week. SHERIDAN, WYOMING – November 3, 2024 – Team Peugeot TotalEnergies ended the FIA World Endurance Championship season on a high note with a spectacular podium finish at the 8 Hours of Bahrain.    

Starting from the back of the grid after their best qualifying time was canceled, the No. 93 PEUGEOT 9X8, driven by Jensen, Müller, and Vergne, mounted an impressive comeback to claim third place.  The team's No. 94 car, unfortunately, had to retire with less than two hours of the race remaining due to a high voltage issue.    

Despite the challenges, the team's strategic tire management and the drivers' impressive performance in the No. 93 car secured them a podium finish.

SHERIDAN, WYOMING – November 3, 2024 – Audi Sport customer racing proudly announced that its three customer racing models, the Audi R8 LMS GT3, the Audi R8 LMS GT4, and the Audi RS 3 LMS, all achieved international success in October.    

The Audi R8 LMS GT3 won the GT America powered by AWS racing series with driver Johnny O'Connell.  O'Connell, a former professional driver, turned a deficit of 18 points into a narrow lead in the final race of the season.  This marked the 121st time since 2009 that a racing driver secured a championship victory in an Audi R8 LMS.    

The Audi R8 LMS GT4 continued its streak of success in the Championnat de France FFSA GT, winning its seventh title since 2018.  The customer team CSA Racing prevailed in the Pro-Am category for the first time this season, with drivers Gaël Castelli and Rodolphe Wallgren scoring points in each of the twelve races.
