Guillermo Ochoa Fronts BC.GAME's Push Into Mexico's Regulated Betting Market

Mexico City – September 25, 2026 -- Five-time World Cup goalkeeper Guillermo "Memo" Ochoa is fronting a new campaign for BC.GAME, the crypto and iGaming platform operating in Mexico as BCGAME.mx, built around his personal vetting of the company's license and payout practices.

In the video, Ochoa says he checked BC.GAME's regulatory standing before agreeing to the deal. "BC.GAME holds a legitimate SEGOB permit and operates legally in Mexico," he says, adding that he confirmed players can deposit at OXXO stores or transfer funds directly through Mexico's SPEI bank-transfer system.

Ochoa says withdrawals clear in minutes, not weeks

Ochoa frames his endorsement around payout speed, a common friction point for betting platforms. "The real question is: do they actually pay you when you win? The answer is yes," he says in the campaign, comparing his scrutiny of the platform to a goalkeeper's read of the game.

The video closes with a responsible-gambling message: "Remember, this is entertainment. Play smart, play responsibly."

BC.GAME names Mexico a priority Latin American market

Erick Sapien, BC.GAME's Mexico Country Manager, said the country's market size, smartphone adoption, digital infrastructure, and football culture make it "a recipe for success" for regulated iGaming. He said compliance with local licensing requirements is central to building sustainable, long-term player trust rather than a secondary concern.

Sapien also positioned the Ochoa partnership as more than marketing, saying it lets BC.GAME build football-specific fan communications that "standard global campaigns simply cannot match."

Platform points to OXXO, SPEI, and provably fair verification

BC.GAME says the campaign reflects features already live on BCGAME.mx, including provably fair verification, integrated local payments via OXXO and SPEI, and accessible responsible-gaming resources. Sapien said retaining users longer-term depends on intuitive navigation, transparent payment processing, and responsive support.

BC.GAME first announced Ochoa as brand ambassador in July 2026. BCGAME.MX operates in Mexico under permit DGAJS/SCEVF/P-06/2005-Ter, held by Producciones Moviles S.A de C.V. in union with Unocapali La Paz Operadora S.A de C.V., under Dirección General de Juegos y Sorteos authorizations DGJS/1580/2021 and DGJS/DCRCA/2921/2021.
