Berlin – September 08, 2026 -- Hisense used IFA 2026 to unveil V AIOS, a new operating system designed to link televisions, mobile devices and home appliances into a single AI-driven ecosystem, while also confirming it will remain an official partner of the UEFA European Championship through 2028.

V AIOS turns household devices into an AI ecosystem

V AIOS builds on Hisense's existing VIDAA OS and ConnectLife platforms, aiming to connect TVs, phones and appliances so they respond to household habits rather than requiring manual control. The system uses edge AI to process data locally, with Hisense emphasizing privacy and transparency in how it handles user information.

Paired with a new AI Companion Suite, the platform can suggest recipes based on ingredients on hand and automatically select matching oven settings, adjust laundry programs for different fabric types, or regulate room climate according to individual preferences.

TCL Unveils TAB A1 Tablet Series with Dual Screen Sizes at IFA 2026

Berlin – September 08, 2026 -- TCL introduced the TAB A1 tablet series at IFA 2026, offering four models split across two screen sizes and two viewing experiences for shoppers who read, stream, study or work on the go.

Four models split by size and screen type

The lineup includes the TCL TAB A1, TCL TAB A1 NXTPAPER, TCL TAB A1 Plus and TCL TAB A1 Plus NXTPAPER. TCL structured the range around two choices: screen size and display technology.

The 11-inch models are built for portability, with a 6.2mm thin design, 2.1K resolution and refresh rates up to 90Hz. The larger 12.2-inch Plus models step up to 2.4K resolution, a 3:2 aspect ratio and refresh rates up to 120Hz, giving users more room for movies, documents and split-screen multitasking.

Built on top of V AIOS, the AI Companion Suite focuses on Cooking, Laundry, and Air & Energy. In the kitchen, the system is meant to link the refrigerator, oven and other appliances to recommend recipes based on available ingredients and individual food preferences, then guide the cooking process.

The camera's square HDR sensor increases sensor utilization by 25%, extending 360-degree dynamic range to 14.5 stops -- double the previous brightness range, according to DJI.
