New York – October 01, 2026 -- Pop star Tate McRae has launched her first signature fragrance, TATE 01, developed with Scent Beauty, Inc. and priced from $30 to $82 for sizes between 10ml and 100ml.
The scent blends bergamot with amber and sandalwood
Perfumers Adriana Medina and Antoine Maisondieu of Givaudan built TATE 01 around a top note of sparkling bergamot and clary sage, moving into white florals before settling into amber, tonka bean, sandalwood and soft woods. The formula is anchored by ISO E Super, a molecule designed to interact with individual skin chemistry so the scent shifts slightly from wearer to wearer.
McRae said she wears the fragrance during rehearsals, describing it as a layer that "warms up and moves with my body" rather than sitting on top of it.
Ulta Beauty brings the fragrance into 1,500-plus stores
TATE 01 is currently available only at tatebytm.com. It will expand to Ulta.com on October 16 and roll out to Ulta Beauty's more than 1,500 U.S. store locations on October 25, marking the retailer's exclusive brick-and-mortar partnership for the launch.
Ulta's Vice President of Merchandising, Linda Suliafu, called the fragrance "a natural extension of Tate herself" and said the retailer aims to give fans and fragrance shoppers a new discovery point both online and in person.
Photographer Mario Sorrenti shot the campaign
The global campaign imagery, shot by Mario Sorrenti, draws on 1990s supermodel aesthetics, set against natural landscapes to pair softness with structure. The glass bottle design echoes classic perfume silhouettes while carrying added physical weight intended to communicate a sense of modern luxury.
Scent Beauty CEO Stephen Mormoris said the TATE 01 launch marks the first step in building a longer-term fragrance brand around McRae, whose catalog includes more than 29 billion career streams and a number-one Billboard 200 debut for her third album, "So Close To What."
