Nearly 3.4 million monitors sold in the German consumer market last year, according to figures cited by BenQ, up 6.7% from the prior year. The ODYSS N1 uses a G-sensor and contact sensors to detect when it's being worn, while a wide-angle camera captures visual food cues and hand-to-mouth movements to identify eating behavior in real time. Unlike smartwatches, which track calories burned but not consumed, the device is built specifically to capture dietary intake data that has long been missing from personal health tracking.

The camera includes adjustable filters, image adjustments, and an in-camera collage feature, allowing users to refine images and cut down on wasted prints. It uses thermal sublimation printing for longer-lasting photos and comes with a removable battery for easier swaps and extended use.

"The moment can be spontaneous, but the print should be a deliberate choice," said Shaowei Song, General Manager of Hanin's Consumer Electronics Division. He added that the EQ3 lets users experiment freely first, then capture the moments that matter most in a bigger square format.

The new device combines an 8MP wide-view camera with a 5MP pan-tilt camera that can rotate 355 degrees and tilt 50 degrees. Reolink's SyncTrack feature lets the pan-tilt camera keep tracking a detected object even after it moves outside the wide-view camera's frame, and users can tap any spot on the wide-angle image to redirect the second camera there.
