SHERIDAN, WYOMING – October 11, 2024 – SHERIDAN, WYOMING – October 11, 2024 – Renault Group and the United Nations, via the UN Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), have entered into a two-year strategic partnership agreement to support the work of the UN Secretary-General's Special Envoy for Road Safety, Jean Todt.  

With this partnership, Renault Group has become the first automobile manufacturer to take a stand alongside the Special Envoy's Secretariat and is stepping up its long-standing commitment to increasingly safe and accessible mobility in all its markets.  

The partners will take action together to promote road safety by providing training, raising awareness and deploying innovation, with a view to benefiting everyone on roads.

The Grande Panda is a small, stylish, and affordable electric car designed for urban driving. It has a range of 320 km (WLTP combined) and can be recharged from 20% to 80% in just 33 minutes using a 100 kW DC fast charger.  

The Grande Panda is available in two versions: the top-of-the-range Grande Panda “La Prima” and the (Grande Panda)RED. Prices start at less than €25,000.

SHERIDAN, WYOMING – October 11, 2024 – Prior to its official reveal later this fall, the all-new 2026 Honda Passport TrailSport will make its competition debut at the 2024 Rebelle Rally, a grueling eight-day off-road challenge through the unforgiving desert conditions of the American Southwest from October 11-19.  

The most adventure-ready and capable Honda SUV ever will take on the all-women off-road event without major modifications, competing in the X-Cross class.  

Wearing a special Rebelle Rally wrap featuring the TrailSport logo, the early-production Passport TrailSport will be driven by two Ohio-based Honda associates and Rebelle rookies. Adia Raya, a commercial quality product engineer at the Honda East Liberty Auto Plant, and Madison Russell, a quality engineer at the Honda North American Quality Center, will compete as team #208, the “TrailSport Trekkers”.

The conference was centered around Industrial Cinema history and reflected on its evolution since the beginning of the twentieth century through images and videos.

MFG Day 2024 is officially held on Friday, Oct. 4, but Honda actually began welcoming students to several plants in late September and activities will continue through October at some facilities. Students have the opportunity to meet Honda associates and participate in hands-on activities that highlight different manufacturing areas and career paths. Honda MFG Day events will reach over 1,700 students from 45 different schools in Alabama, Georgia, Indiana, Ohio, and the Carolinas.

SHERIDAN, WYOMING – October 6, 2024 – SHERIDAN, WYOMING – October 6, 2024 – During this weekend’s rainy last round of the 2024 MotoAmerica season at New Jersey Motorsports Park, Real Steel Motorsports rider Hayden Gillim wrapped up his second consecutive Stock 1000 National Championship, with wins on Saturday and Sunday. Racing a CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP with significant backing from Tennessee dealership Southern Powersports, Gillim dominated the series, winning seven of 10 races.

A 29-year-old native of Owensboro, Kentucky, Gillim is a racing veteran, having won his first Amateur Dirt Track Grand Championship at age 6. He’s a cousin of the famous racing Hayden brothers (who he is named after), and typically runs number 69 as an homage to the late Nicky Hayden, who rode Hondas to the 1999 AMA 600 Supersport Championship, the 2002 AMA Superbike Championship and the 2006 MotoGP World Championship.
