SHERIDAN, WYOMING – October 12, 2024 – SHERIDAN, WYOMING – October 12, 2024 – On his second day at law school, Wayne McConnell got a call from General Motors, inviting him to interview for a job at the Milford Proving Ground.  

Turned out, it was also his last day at law school.  

More than 40 years later, McConnell now runs Milford, a 4,000-acre GM test center in suburban Detroit that includes nearly 150 miles of roads.  

Since 1924, Milford has played a critical role as a testbed for GM cars, trucks, and SUVs - and occasionally tanks and moon buggies.  

While technology in recent times has dramatically accelerated the capabilities of both GM vehicles and the methods for testing them, Milford will continue to play a key role in the vehicle development process for many years to come.

Sitting neatly between GM's main hubs in Flint, Detroit, Lansing, and Pontiac, Milford is the oldest dedicated vehicle testing facility in the world.

Warrior Rising is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to helping U.S. Military veterans achieve success in business through partnerships, mentoring, and economic assistance.  

GM Defense offered more than 30 veterans test drives of both the GMC HUMMER EV and the Army's Infantry Squad Vehicle, which is based on the Chevrolet Colorado ZR2. Veterans also got a look at two of Chevrolet's mid-engine performance cars - the 2024 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray and Corvette Z06.

The introduction of the new Magnite across Africa, the Middle East, and India comes as part of a broad product offensive and Nissan's move to position India as a manufacturing hub under the Arc, Nissan's mid-term business plan. Bold Styling & Advanced Tech

SHERIDAN, WYOMING – October 12, 2024 – SHERIDAN, WYOMING – October 12, 2024 – Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. announces today that its Tochigi Plant Guest Hall in Tochigi Prefecture has reopened following a significant renovation.  

The Tochigi Plant has welcomed more than 2.43 million visitors since 1974, primarily elementary school students. In 2005, a new guest hall was established to house information about the plant's operations, showcasing technology and the Nissan brand through car displays and events.  

The renovations to the hall are aimed to provide visitors with a more immersive experience of Nissan's manufacturing. On entering, visitors are welcomed by a display of the latest vehicles produced at the plant.  

SHERIDAN, WYOMING – October 11, 2024 – SHERIDAN, WYOMING – October 11, 2024 – Nissan Formula E Team will pair Oliver Rowland and Norman Nato for the 2024/25 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, forming an experienced and competitive driver line-up.  

Following a fruitful partnership in the GEN2 era, Rowland enjoyed a strong Season 10 with the team. The British driver took two victories, including a home win in the final race of the year, in addition to two pole positions and five further podiums on his way to fourth in the standings.  

Meanwhile, Formula E race winner Nato returns to the Japanese squad, having previously raced in cherry blossom during Season 9 (2022/23). The Frenchman was a regular in the points, securing the team's first podium finish under full Nissan ownership at the 2023 Rome E-Prix.
