Dallas – October 19, 2026 -- MoneyGram has launched a redesigned app and website that let consumers send, receive, hold and cash out money across borders in one place, with support in 40 languages. The updated MoneyGram Online experience is live across supported markets globally.
One app covers sending, bills, balances and cash pickup
Consumers can send money to bank accounts, debit cards, digital wallets, retail locations and other MoneyGram app users. They can also pay bills, top up mobile phones and earn rewards by referring friends and family. Available receive methods vary by corridor and appear during the transaction flow.
In select markets, users can hold a stable, dollar-denominated balance through MoneyGram balance. Stablecoin technology runs behind the scenes, so users do not have to manage it themselves.
US senders can now reach app users in Colombia and El Salvador
Consumers in the United States can send directly to MoneyGram app users in markets including Colombia and El Salvador. Recipients can manage the funds digitally and still collect cash through MoneyGram's retail network where available.
The model goes beyond a single remittance transaction. Senders and recipients sit in the same network, which gives recipients more ways to manage money after they receive it.
The network spans 200+ countries and nearly 500,000 retail locations
MoneyGram says it connects consumers to more than five billion digital endpoints, including wallets, bank accounts and cards. Its physical footprint covers more than 200 countries and territories and nearly 500,000 retail locations.
The app, website and MoneyGram balance share a common global foundation. MoneyGram can build a capability once and adapt it to local languages, payment methods and consumer needs.
"Global money movement has become increasingly fragmented," said CEO Anthony Soohoo, who described the launch as a way to give consumers more choice and control.
Chief Product and Technology Officer Luke Tuttle said the strategy starts with the consumer rather than the technology. People should not have to think about which product to use or how it works behind the scenes.
