"Assemblean": spin-off from the University of Paderborn concludes financing round of 1.8 million euros
SHERIDAN, WYOMING – February 5, 2025 – SHERIDAN, WYOMING – Feb. 5, 2025 – "assemblean," a spin-off from the Heinz Nixdorf Institute at the University of Paderborn, Germany, has successfully closed a €1.8 million seed funding round. The investment was led by venture capital firms b2venture and Archimedes New Ventures, along with business angels from the Teuto Seed Club. This funding will enable "assemblean" to validate its business model, further develop its product, and finance its market entry. The startup received support from garage33, the University of Paderborn's startup center, during its spin-off process. The foundation for "assemblean" was laid during Yang's and Pöhler's research on decentralized production control within the "Product Creation" department, headed by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Iris Gräßler at the Heinz Nixdorf Institute in Paderborn.
