Buena Park, Calif. – September 24, 2026 -- Yamaha has released the Matteo Mancuso Signature Revstar (RS20MM), a production electric guitar priced at $1,599.99 and now available through authorized Yamaha dealers nationwide.
The guitar recreates Mancuso's custom instrument down to the pickups
Developed with guitarist Matteo Mancuso, the RS20MM is built to replicate the tone, feel and performance of his personal custom Revstar. It features the same DiMarzio PAF 36th Anniversary pickups used in Mancuso's instrument, designed to deliver clarity, sustain and dynamic response.
Mancuso has played Revstar guitars since 2017 and became a Yamaha artist in 2019. The RS20MM marks only the second widely available artist-signature model in the Revstar lineup.
A chambered body and carbon-reinforced neck define the construction
The guitar uses Yamaha Acoustic Design technology, pairing a chambered body for resonance and reduced weight with a carbon-reinforced neck for stability. A push-pull Focus Switch combined with a 5-way switching system covers tones spanning jazz, fusion and rock.
A refined neck heel, developed at Mancuso's request, is intended to improve upper-fret access for technical playing.
Finishes mirror Mancuso's personal instrument
The RS20MM comes in Vintage Sunburst with a flame-maple top, all-gold hardware, a custom logo inlay at the 12th fret and Mancuso's signature printed on the truss rod cover.
Mancuso said the model is an evolution of the custom Revstar he has relied on onstage and in the studio for years, aimed at giving other players access to the same versatility and articulation his playing requires.
