Addmotor Rolls Out 2026 Electric Trike Lineup: Freetan, UTrike, Freetri
El Monte, Calif. – September 18, 2026 -- Addmotor has introduced its 2026 electric trike lineup, featuring the Freetan semi-recumbent series, the UTrike tilting series, and the Freetri folding e-trike, expanding the company's range of three-wheel electric vehicles sold in the U.S.
The Freetan pairs full suspension with a reclining seat for extended comfort
Built on a 6061 aluminum alloy frame, the Freetan uses a 750W rear-drive motor with the company's EB2.0 control system and a torque sensor, powered by a 48V 20Ah Xuanwu battery. An 80mm front fork and dual rear shocks absorb road impacts, while the backrest reclines between 90 and 170 degrees. The design targets seniors, riders recovering from surgery or limited joint mobility, desk workers with back strain, and fitness-focused cyclists.
