New York – October 28, 2026 -- Science in Sport (SiS), the UK-made performance nutrition brand used by elite athletes, is now sold in Target stores nationwide and on Target's online store, giving US runners, cyclists and gym-goers a new way to buy its fueling, hydration and recovery products.
The Target launch is the centerpiece of SiS's US expansion. It follows the brand's ongoing collaboration with Nike and two new partnerships with American athletes: rising marathoner Charles Hicks and Dylan Scott, the world number one HYROXer.
SiS products are already used by pro teams
The brand says its products are used by English Premier League soccer teams, the Milwaukee Bucks and New York City Football Club. SiS says it supports more than 350 professional teams, organizations and institutions globally, and that its products fueled 105 medal winners at the Paris Olympic Games.
The company has been making sports nutrition since 1992
SiS was founded in 1992 and is credited with creating the world's first isotonic energy gel. It also played a role in dual-source carbohydrate innovation. All of its products are produced and tested in the UK, and the company works with a Scientific Advisory Board, academics and university partners.
SiS says its guidance is meant to help athletes at all levels understand what to take, when to take it, and how to adjust their nutrition to individual goals.
US general manager Mike Percic targets first-time racers and PR chasers
Mike Percic, General Manager of Science in Sport US, called the Target launch "a landmark achievement" for the brand. He said more people now want to optimize their fueling to train, perform and recover, and that they want products and guidance they can trust. In his words, the Target rollout is meant to reach people preparing for a first race, chasing a personal best, or simply trying to get more out of training.
SiS plans more partnerships and educational content
Alongside wider retail distribution, SiS says it will keep investing in elite partnerships, educational content and engagement with key sporting communities. It will also continue its involvement in major events and activations in the US.
