SHERIDAN, WYOMING – November 5, 2024 – The European Handball Federation (EHF) has announced the winners of the prestigious EHF Excellence Awards 2024 in beach handball, recognizing outstanding achievements in the sport. Portuguese goalkeeper Ricardo Castro and Dutch right wing Meike Kruijer have been named the Most Valuable Players (MVPs) of the season, solidifying their positions as top athletes in beach handball.

The EHF Excellence Awards are presented annually to individuals who have demonstrated exceptional skill, dedication, and sportsmanship throughout the year. Castro and Kruijer's selection is a testament to their remarkable performances on both the national team and club levels.

SHERIDAN, WYOMING – November 05, 2024-The new champions of the EHF Beach Handball Champions Cup 2024 have been crowned, with The Danish Beachhandball Dream and GRD Leça - Spar taking home the coveted prize after dramatic shootouts.

The Danish Beachhandball Dream successfully defended their title in a thrilling match against CATS A.M. Team Almeria. Frida Nygaard Ulrichsen led her team to victory with an impressive 11 points, securing the prestigious trophy for Denmark once again.

In an equally intense bronze medal match, Black Lake Beach emerged victorious against GRD Leça - Love Tiles. Meike Kruijer, from the winning team, was named the tournament's most valuable player in the women's competition.

SHERIDAN, WYOMING – November 5, 2024 – With the Women's EHF EURO 2024 just around the corner, excitement is building as the 24 participating nations have officially announced their squad lists for the tournament. This highly anticipated championship, hosted in Austria, Hungary, and Switzerland, promises to deliver thrilling handball action and showcase the best female athletes in Europe.

Each nation has submitted a squad list comprising a maximum of 35 players. "Each squad list contains a maximum of 35 players and will serve as the basis for the respective federation to select the 20-player official delegation participating at the EHF EURO 2024, together with eight officials," clarified the official media release. These lists are crucial as they form the pool from which the final 20-player delegation, along with eight officials, will be chosen to represent their country in the tournament.

The lawsuit, filed in the Central District of California, accuses LA Fitness of failing to provide equal access to its facilities and equipment for members with disabilities.

According to the DOJ, LA Fitness has been neglecting to maintain essential equipment like pool lifts and elevators, creating significant barriers for members who rely on them. The lawsuit cites the case of "Patron A," a woman with multiple sclerosis who has experienced inoperable pool lifts at her local LA Fitness.
