BWT Alpine Formula One Team Showed Strong Determination at the São Paulo Grand Prix

SHERIDAN, WYOMING – November 4, 2024 – BWT Alpine Formula One Team tackled the challenges of the Autódromo José Carlos Pace Circuit for the São Paulo Grand Prix, Round 21 of the 2024 FIA Formula 1 World Championship. Drivers Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly were eager to take on the iconic circuit and deliver strong results in the final leg of the triple-header.

The São Paulo Grand Prix, held at the legendary Interlagos circuit, was known for its passionate fans, challenging layout, and unpredictable racing. The circuit's combination of high-speed straights, tight corners, and elevation changes demanded precision and skill from the drivers.

Esteban Ocon embraced the unique atmosphere and challenges that the São Paulo Grand Prix presented. He commented, "I am looking forward to heading to Brazil this week. The track is always a fun challenge to drive, and the atmosphere is incredible. Like Mexico City, the São Paulo fans always bring the noise which spurs us drivers on."

Team Peugeot TotalEnergies Celebrates a Podium Finish at the 8 Hours of Bahrain

SHERIDAN, WYOMING – November 3, 2024 – Team Peugeot TotalEnergies ended the FIA World Endurance Championship season on a high note with a spectacular podium finish at the 8 Hours of Bahrain.    

Starting from the back of the grid after their best qualifying time was canceled, the No. 93 PEUGEOT 9X8, driven by Jensen, Müller, and Vergne, mounted an impressive comeback to claim third place.  The team's No. 94 car, unfortunately, had to retire with less than two hours of the race remaining due to a high voltage issue.    

Despite the challenges, the team's strategic tire management and the drivers' impressive performance in the No. 93 car secured them a podium finish.

Audi Sport Customer Racing Celebrated International Titles with Three Models

SHERIDAN, WYOMING – November 3, 2024 – Audi Sport customer racing proudly announced that its three customer racing models, the Audi R8 LMS GT3, the Audi R8 LMS GT4, and the Audi RS 3 LMS, all achieved international success in October.    

The Audi R8 LMS GT3 won the GT America powered by AWS racing series with driver Johnny O'Connell.  O'Connell, a former professional driver, turned a deficit of 18 points into a narrow lead in the final race of the season.  This marked the 121st time since 2009 that a racing driver secured a championship victory in an Audi R8 LMS.    

The Audi R8 LMS GT4 continued its streak of success in the Championnat de France FFSA GT, winning its seventh title since 2018.  The customer team CSA Racing prevailed in the Pro-Am category for the first time this season, with drivers Gaël Castelli and Rodolphe Wallgren scoring points in each of the twelve races.

Team Peugeot TotalEnergies Achieves Its Best Result of the Season at the 6 Hours of Fuji!

SHERIDAN, WYOMING – October 29, 2024 – SHERIDAN, WYOMING – October 29, 2024 – Thanks to a perfectly executed race strategy and an excellent performance by the six drivers, the PEUGEOT 9X8 2024 secured 4th and 8th places at the 6 Hours of Fuji.

Starting from 14th position, the PEUGEOT 9X8 #93 finished 4th, just 3.525 seconds away from the podium. The #94 also gained ten places in the standings to finish 8th.

After a tough race in Austin and a lack of pace in qualifying at the Fuji Speedway, Team Peugeot TotalEnergies managed to turn things around, bringing both PEUGEOT 9X8 2024 cars into the top ten and achieving their best result of the season in front of 65,800 fans.

Team Peugeot TotalEnergies Looks to Shine at 6 Hours of Fuji

The team is determined to bounce back and secure a strong finish at the Fuji International Speedway, a track known for its unique characteristics and unpredictable weather.

"The Fuji Speedway is a diverse racetrack, with a long 1,475-meter start-finish straight and some tight corners in the infield," explains Olivier Jansonnie, Peugeot Sport Technical Director. "Achieving the right balance between top speed and aerodynamic downforce is always a challenge on this circuit, which features 16 corners—10 right-handers and 6 left-handers. Additionally, we have to consider the unpredictable weather at this time of year on Japan's main island, Honshu."
